The "Cult of Ibérico Ham" Opens in Madrid

Ibérico ham producer Señorío de Montanera from Protected Denomination of Origin Dehesa de Extremadura, has opened its first establishment in Madrid, a store/café whose intention is to induct new members into the "Cult of Ibérico Ham."

Anyone who has ever tried Spanish Ibérico bellota ham will know with absolute certainty that you can never have enough of it.

Fortunately, satisfying a fix for this treasured Spanish gastronomic product has just gotten a little easier with the inauguration of the new Tienda de Señorío on calle Santa Engracia 38, in the central Madrid neighborhood of Chamberí.

This bright and airy delicatessen, which has the vintage feel of a traditional Spanish tavern and charcuterie shop, is dedicated to both selling and serving the company's 100% Ibérico bellota hams, which are carved to order, in addition to other Ibérico pork products like lomo, salchichón, chorizo, morcón, etc.

Other products for sale and consumption include canned fish, shellfish, vegetables and legumes, Payoyo goat cheeses, wines, sherries and more.

For those who can't make it to this new establishment, Señorío de Montanera's Ibérico pork products are also available in the company's online store (http://senorio.es/), which is in both English and Spanish and ships throughout Europe.
