The Ibérica restaurants are the place to be this month, as they get set to host several interesting activities that fans of Spanish food and drink are going to love. At the Farringdon, Victoria and Manchester locales, gin and tonic will be in the spotlight, with a very special masterclass given by Pedro Carvalho, the head bartender at the Spanish restaurant chain. He will show participants how to create some top-notch cocktails using Spanish gins directly from Spain, and provide them with a taste of products from leading gin brand Gin Mare.
At the Marylebone, Victoria and Manchester locales, another masterclass will be held, this time highlighting one the best live oils in the world, that of Spanish company Pago Baldios. The company, which has been working in the field since the 17th century and is specialized in olive oil production, will give participants an inside look at their olive oils and pair them with a range of Ibérica canapés.
And lastly, on January 26th, London’s Evening Standard has teamed up with the Spanish Tourist Office in the city to offer 50 readers a very special evening at Ibérica Farringdon. Participants will go on a gastronomic journey entitled “Spanish Journeys: A Guide to Great Experiences”, complete with some of the country’s top foods and wines.
The restaurants will be organizing several activities, from masterclasses to a gastronomic journey
